FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: device has body with radial ports, cutting assembly and drive. Cutting assembly has three disk cutters, evenly positioned around circle of body with possible rotation together with pipes column. Cutters are made with back teeth and square-shaped profile axes, set vertically in square side grooves of wedge casings. Drive has upper and lower spring-loaded wedge-shaped pistons. Pistons are made with possible movement towards each other and contact with wedge casings. Pipe cutter is connected to pipes column.
EFFECT: higher reliability, higher efficiency.
