METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF CHRONIC GASTRODUODENITIS AND FUNCTIONAL DYSPEPSIA IN CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2255337 C2

FIELD: medicine, pediatrics.

SUBSTANCE: for carrying out the differential diagnosis of chronic gastroduodenitis and functional dyspepsia in children method involves study of clinical-laboratory indices and additional assay of spontaneous adhesion of leukocytes and their sensitivity to cellular adhesion modulating agents - phytohemagglutinin (PHA), theophylline and thymalinum. Functional dyspepsia is diagnosed in the following indices of functional activity of leukocytes in the normal range: spontaneous adhesion of neutrophiles, 28.03 ± 2.0%; monocytes, 30.04 ± 1.27%; lymphocytes, 20.81 ± 0.97%, and modulated adhesion of neutrophiles: PHA, 31.02 ± 1.27%; theophylline, 30.88 ± 1.07%; thymalinum, 32.66 ± 2.01%; monocytes: PHA, 32.15 ± 1.11%; theophylline, 31.02 ± 2.07%; thymalinum, 31.54 ± 1.21%; lymphocytes: PHA, 23.05 ± 1.27%; theophylline, 22.14 ± 1.12%; thymalinum, 21.98 ± 1.09%. Chronic gastroduodenitis is diagnosed at indices of functional activity of leukocytes that exceed limits of normal values. The proposed method allows carrying out the more precise, early and not severe for child body diagnosis of chronic gastroduodenitis and functional gastric dyspepsia.

EFFECT: improved method for diagnosis.
