FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chamber-type drying equipment with convective heat transfer and it can be used for vegetable food drying. Proposed multitier drying chamber with cover is furnished with ventilation device including perforated cross partition and gate on line communicating with atmosphere. Detachable gauze pan is mounted in each tier on framework and number of replaceable infra-red radiators with ceramic functional envelope. Distance between radiators is 2.3-2.5 times less than height of their. Moreover, additional gauze pan is installed in each tier over infra-red radiators symmetrically. Perforated cross partition is secured from bottom of chamber and it communicates with outer housing which accommodates series-mounted heater, fan and air filter. Gate is mounted in cover port.
EFFECT: increased capacity of drying chamber.
