DEVICE FOR PNEUMATIC SEPARATION OF LOOSE MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2255817 C1

FIELD: agriculture equipment; devices for pneumatic separation of grain from light impurities.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of agriculture, in particular, to devices for pneumatic separation of grain from light impurities, that is to pneumatic separators widely used for grain clearing from light impurities at the grain-processing enterprises and at the stations of the after-harvesting treatment of grain at the economies. The device for pressure-pneumatic separation of the loose materials contains: a cylindrical body with a located in its upper part and coaxially to it preparation chamber formed by a group of concentric hollow cylinders forming a step-by-step surface with a ring-type slit clearances and a placed inside the preparation chamber insert consisting of two parts rigidly linked to each other and mounted with a capability of a vertical motion; the lower part of the insert is made in the form of a truncated cone placed with its bigger base downwards and conjugated with a cleaning separating channel limited by an air-distributing screen; an inlet branch-pipe tangentially connected with the preparation chamber; a collector of the light impurities located in the body under the preparation chamber and connected to a fan; a collector of the main fraction of the grain located in the lower part of the body. At that the preparation chamber is placed in the vertical cylindrical jacket forming its outer surface and in its lower part - a slot clearance with the bigger base of a truncated cone of the insert and in the upper part - supplied with a cover having a central hole and to which the upper hollow cylinder of the preparation chamber is fixed, the step-by-step surface of which forms its inner surface and is made narrowing downwards. The upper part of the insert is made in the form of a cylinder mounted in a hood of the cylindrical body of the device. The technical result is an increased efficiency of the grain cleaning and a decreased size of the pneumatic separating device cross-sectional dimension.

EFFECT: the invention ensures increased efficiency of the grain cleaning, decreased size of the pneumatic separating device cross-sectional dimension.
