FIELD: woodworking and furniture production.
SUBSTANCE: method involves simultaneous turning four billets having square cross-sections and pressed one against another to form composite article having square cross-section to impart the first contour to the billets; rotating the billets through 180° angle and turning thereof to impart the second contour to the billets for necessary article shape obtaining.
EFFECT: simplified production and reduced labor inputs.
