FIELD: weaponry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weapons and can be used in the manufacture of shoulder strap machine gun turret. The method is intended for manufacturing a set of blanks of rings for shoulder straps of a turret machine-gun mount, made in the form of three annular parts interconnected with the possibility of rotation in a horizontal plane: a shoulder strap gear, a shoulder strap ring and an adjusting ring, and includes the preliminary production of two cylindrical blanks with axial holes and a volume each, equal to the volume of two or more blanks of rings of the same name for a shoulder strap gear and a shoulder strap ring, for further finishing machining. Each of these blanks in the process of manufacturing ring blanks is alternately installed with its end face on the table of a turning-and-boring machine, fixed from the inside, and the outer diameter is first turned to the outer diameter of the corresponding ring blank for the entire height of the cylindrical blank. Then, the turning of the grooves transverse with respect to the axial hole is performed along the circumference until a diameter is obtained that is (0.997-0.999) the diameter of the hole of the corresponding ring blank and not less than 1.006 the diameter of the axial hole of the cylindrical blank, in the amount of (n-1) pieces, where n is the number of blanks rings. After that, having re-fastened the cylindrical blank from the outside, they proceed to boring the axial hole to the diameter of the inner hole of the corresponding ring blank to the entire height of the cylindrical blank or sequentially to the specified height of the ring blank, thereby completely separating each ring blank and removing them one by one from the machine, obtaining from one a cylindrical billet - a billet of shoulder strap gears for further finishing machining, and from the other - a billet of shoulder strap rings. An adjusting ring blank is cut out from each shoulder strap blank by longitudinal and transverse turning on a lathe, for which, first, a part of the shoulder strap blank is turned from the outside to a diameter and to a height corresponding to the specified outer diameter and height of the adjusting ring blank, and then sharpened transverse groove to a diameter corresponding to the inner diameter of the workpiece of the adjusting ring, taking into account the width of the cut of the longitudinal groove, and then proceed to turning the longitudinal groove, maintaining the diameter corresponding to the inner diameter of the workpiece of the adjusting ring, after which, first, the workpiece of the adjusting ring is removed from the machine, and then the workpiece of the shoulder strap ring, obtaining these workpieces for further finishing machining.
EFFECT: reduction of material consumption, prime cost and increase in processing productivity due to the expansion of technological capabilities in the processing of ring-shaped parts is achieved.
