FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: method includes the bar fixing in the chuck of the machine and cutting its end, after which a blind axial hole is drawn in the end part of the bar, in depth and diameter equal to the required dimensions of the cavity of the bowl, then the end of the bar is traversed from the outside, creating a cylindrical surface, the diameter of which is equal to the outer diameter of the bowl, then the end part of the rod, equal in length to the height of the bowl with the allowance for finishing its bottom, is cut off. From the remaining part of the rod, a cylindrical mandrel with an outer diameter equal to the diameter of the cavity of the bowl is cut out, the cut end of the rod is put on the mandrel without reinstalling the latter and then the bottom of the bowl is cut into size from the outside. Before cutting the bottom in size, the edge of the bowl, opposite to the bottom, and the adjacent areas of the mandrel surface and the outer surface of the bowl are connected by means of an elastic clamp with interference. Inner surface of the clamp is preliminary coated with a neoprene adhesive.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of manufacturing the bowl is achieved.
