FIELD: metallurgy; rolling process; manufacture of chromo-molybdenum-vanadium heat-resistant steel in continuous wide-strip mills for manufacture of boilers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes continuous heating of cast slabs followed by hot rolling in strips at controlled temperature of end of rolling, cooling with water to reeling temperature and reeling in rolls; strip is cooled with water to temperature of 680-780°C; after reeling, rolls are placed in thermostat and are slowly cooled to temperature of 300-500°C during 40-50 h. Construction steel has the following composition, mass-%:C, 0.08-0.15; Si. 0.1-0.4; Mn, 0.4-0.8; Cr, 0.8-1.3; Mo, 0.2-0.4; V, 0.2-0.4; Ni, no more than 0.3; Cu, no more than 0.2; Al, no more than 0.02; N, no more than 0.0.12; S, no more than 0.015; O, no more than 0.020; As, no more than 0.08; the remainder being Fe.
EFFECT: improved quality of sheet material; avoidance of additional heat treatment.
