FIELD: rolling, in particular, strip rolling, mainly, from chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes heating of slabs to temperature of beginning of rolling 1200-1250 C, hot rolling at 820-880 C with reduction in the last pass equalling 12-16%, subsequent cooling to temperature of strip coiling into roll equalling 540-600 C. Cooling rate to coiling temperature is 10-17 C/s. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
