FIELD: metallurgy; production of rolled metal.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of metallurgy, in particular, to production of rolled metal of special designation by a method of thermomechanical working. The technical result consists in production of special designation rolled metal with heightened strength indexes, yield point, impact elasticity, cold endurance and a welding capacity. The method of production of rolled metal contains smelting of steel of a definite chemical composition, out-of-furnace treatment, continuous casting, austenitizing, prestrain and final strain in the interval of temperatures 980 ÷ 730°C with a total degree of reduction of 65 ÷ 80 %, detailed reductions of 10 ÷ 12 % and a strain rate of 10-2 ÷ 10 second-1 , and refrigerating of rolled metal in time intervals between the detailed reductions conduct at the rate of 5 ÷ 30°C/second. In addition there are versions of the accelerated refrigeration of the rolled metal.
EFFECT: the invention ensures production of special designation rolled metal with heightened strength indexes, yield point, impact elasticity, cold endurance and a welding capacity.
