FIELD: the invention refers to striking percussion primers and is used for cartridges for hunting and sporting rifles.
SUBSTANCE: the essence of the invention is in that percussion primer has located in the casing a cap with molded in it ignition composition and a domed stake. The stake is flush molded into the cap and the casing is fulfilled in the shape of thin-walled cylinder with a flange on the face of the cylinder from the side of the bottom molded in the cylinder of the cap and with the curve of the wall of the cylinder from the other face on 180° inwards with a radius on 0,10-q,15 mm larger than the half of the thickness of the wall of the cap. The length of the cylinder is chosen such that the stake should set against the inner curve of the face of the cylinder.
EFFECT: the invention increases the sensitiveness and stability of action of the percussion primer.
