FIELD: hunting and sports rifles. SUBSTANCE: percussion cap for hunting and sports rifles has cap 2 with pressed-in ignition mixture 3 and anvil 4 encased in shell 1. Cap 2 is mounted for axial movement relative to shell 1. It is made from steel having Brinell hardness 100-110. Relation of thickness of layer of compound under anvil 4 to its total height of pressing = in equals 0.4-0.5. Such design of percussion cap makes it possible to concentrate force of impact under anvil 4 without its resolution into components. Deepening of anvil 4 into ignition compounds 3 due to movement of cap 2 occurs without any disturbance of initial density of compound which restricts range of scattering. EFFECT: restricted range of scattering. 3 dwg, 2 tbl
