FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely casting steel and other melt metals.
SUBSTANCE: sliding gate includes mounting frame and carriage provided with motion mechanism. Carriage has guides parallel to axis of gate. Movable and stationary refractory plates are arranged in mounting plate and in carriage and they are forced one to other. At both sides of lengthwise axis of gate two double-arm first type levers are mounted. Rotation axles of said levers are in the form of shaft mounted mutually in parallel on rotary supports in mounting frame at both sides of lengthwise axis of gate. First arms of said levers mounted in one ends of shafts are pressed out one from other by means of spring block. Second arms of said levers are mounted in second ends of shafts and they are arranged in plane passing along axis of opening of stationary refractory plate normally relative to lengthwise axis of gate. Bearing members mounted in axles symmetrically relative to lengthwise axis of gate with possibility of engaging with guides of carriage are arranged on second arms.
EFFECT: improved design providing uniform distribution of efforts for forcing refractory plates one to other, simplified maintenance of sliding gate.
