FIELD: automatic packers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic packing machines, namely, to method of correction of relative position of carcass and covering materials in automatic packing machines, including displacement of conveyor with carcass and covering materials through preset step, revealing mismatching of position of covering material relative to carcass material by means of optical pickup using mark applied to covering material, and shifting of covering material relative to carcass material to decrease mismatch. Displacement of covering material is provided by changing time of holding of carcass and covering materials at thermal welding, and fixed step S of conveyor displacement is found from St0 < S < Stl where St0 and Stl are distances between adjacent marks on covering material after thermal welding at time of holding of t0 and t1, respectively. Invention provides description of device for implementing the method.
EFFECT: provision of accurate marking relative to cases of packages.
