FIELD: pipe engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems enabling control of the mechanical properties of components before their connection and installation. The effect is achieved by implementing a method for monitoring the condition of a pipe that is intended to be connected to a production structure, and wherein the server controls a digital pipe descriptor that contains the first set of data stored in at least the first storage device. This method also includes: authenticating the pipe by recording its tracking code; generating a request for the server from a computer located next to the pipe; obtaining an identification number to generate the pipe inventory status; obtaining the first pipe completion state value and the second pipe planning state value; generates a warning when the first or the second value is equal to the specified status value.
EFFECT: implementation of dynamic, real-time monitoring of the condition of a pipe, which is intended for connection to a production structure.
