DETACHABLE CONTAINER FOR TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE OF LONG-CUT LOADS, SUCH AS LUMBER Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2256595 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to containers for carrying long-cut loads with possibility of stacking at storing. Proposed container has four rigid clamps with load-gripping members, two of which have end face wall, and two others are arranged longitudinal at equal distances from each other, each being made of two horizontal members resting on two vertical members, between which plates are arranged connected to each other and connecting end face walls to each other. Clamp bracing is made of shaped material from outer side, whose horizontal and vertical members are interconnected by two bolt joints at width of shaped materials, and extreme surfaces from end faces are provided with holes for connecting containers to each other. Clamp bracing from inner side of container is made of wood, similar to bracing from outer side. Bracing are fastened by plates connecting end face surfaces of container uniformly over entire cross perimeter, and clamps are arranged uniformly in longitudinal direction. Ratio of container height to width can be 1. Proposed container makes it possible to carry long-cut-loads saving them from damage and environmental influences. Containers can be placed in several rows in height at transportation and storage.

EFFECT: strong and simple design.
