REPAIR METHOD FOR METAL RESERVOIR Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: building units, particularly bulk storage containers.

SUBSTANCE: method involves lifting reservoir at design level, cutting reservoir bottom along perimeter thereof so that cutting line is spaced a distance equal to reservoir rim width from reservoir walls; marking reservoir for following forming windows, wherein marks are located at a distance equal to integer number of widths of rolled sheet used for reservoir rim forming; lifting reservoir wall up to reaching the design level; installing composite fixed supports under reservoir wall in gap between window marks near lifting jacks; cutting out the marked windows and performing repair of reservoir bottom rims; reconstructing foundation; removing reservoir from supports; removing lifting jacks; performing further reservoir repair between previously repaired areas; repeating all repairing operations for another reservoir areas up to repair completion.

EFFECT: increased quality, reliability and absence of clearance gaps on reservoir bottom and wall.
