FIELD: packing and storage.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage containers, specifically to liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks. Liquefied natural gas storage tank includes primary internal 2 container-reservoir, secondary 1 external container-reservoir, cover 3 of internal 2 container, heat insulation system (4-6). Thermal insulation system includes heat insulation of bottom 1 of foam glass blocks and levelling layer of concrete, heat insulation of inter-wall space between external 1 and internal 2 containers-reservoirs from elastic mat and perlite, heat insulation of cover 3 of internal 2 container from fiberglass mats, steel lining of external walls of secondary 1 external container. Tank includes bearing 7 base plate on reinforced concrete piles with heating of secondary 2 external container, cornice beam, dome spherical roof 10 – reinforced concrete dome, lining 8 sheets from carbon steel on inner side 10 of the dome, aluminium plates welded together, flat bottom of primary internal 2 reservoir, cylindrical shell of internal 2 reservoir.
EFFECT: enlarging the range of tanks for long-term storage of liquefied natural gas to 240,000 m3, increasing the storage life of liquefied natural gas and improving operating reliability of cryogenic fuel storages.
