FIELD: sealing or packing boreholes or wells, particularly blowout preventers for well heads.
SUBSTANCE: rotary support comprises movable mounting bar connected to preventer body so that the bar may be displaced relative axis of side orifice made in preventer body. Rotary member providing cap rotation when cap is brought out of contact with preventer body is connected to mounting bar. Movable mounting bar may be connected at least with one rod secured to preventer body. Axis of cap rotation generally crosses central axial line of the cap. Rotary support may be provided with displacement means to move cap along side body orifice axis and with cap rotation means.
EFFECT: improved preventer maintenance conditions.
