FIELD: the invention refers to measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: it may be used for measuring of the length of easily deformed materials in knitting, sewing and textile production. The arrangement has a drive feed and shift of material; a mechanism of feeding material into the zone of measuring with feed rollers; a transformer of linear shifting which includes measuring tape transporter; an optical-electronic sensor of the length connected with drive roller of the transformer of linear shifting; a system of dynamic correction of the measuring results; an arrangement of cohesion of the measuring tape with moving material and blocks of registration and correction of measuring results commutated with the processor. The arrangement of cohesion of measuring transporter tape with the moving material is fulfilled in the shape of a non-drive elastic mover installed over the drive measuring transporter and kinematically connected with it by means of forces of friction. At that the standard measure of length represents the length of the drive transporter.

EFFECT: the invention expands technological possibilities of the arrangement, Increases quantity of the measuring process and improves reliability and accuracy of measuring.
