FIELD: testing machines measuring length of materials in rolls. SUBSTANCE: device includes mechanisms to feed and coiling of materials, meters measuring length and width of material. System of adaptive correction of error of measurement results caused by misalignment of movement of central line of canvas is included in device measuring length of moving roll material to increase measurement accuracy. Device also has optical rules placed at entrance and exit of testing table to measure width and position of central line of material. Invention makes it possible to determine misalignment of movement of central line of canvas and to apply corrections to measurement results in agreement with developed algorithm by means of microprocessor.
