FIELD: household appliances.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cyclone-type dust and trap for vacuum cleaner provides protection of fitted-in filter from foreign matter and from clogging of gauze. Proposed device contains dust-collecting box, cover for opening and closing of dust collecting box upper part and filtering unit with cylindrical filter mounted at lower surface of cover ion zone of outlet channel whose inner space communicates with outlet channel, and protective cylindrical housing made for enclosing filter unit over outer periphery and installed under cover so that its inner space can communicate with space outer relative to inner space through great number of vent holes made in its lower part. Dust-collecting box is provided with intake channel arranged tangentially relative to box and designed to pass air with foreign matter into box whose upper part is open. Outlet channel in center of cover is designed to let out air from which contaminants are removed. Separating plate connected with lower part of filtering unit passes radially to form preset clearance between plate and inner peripheral surface of dust-collecting box. Upper surface of separating plate is tilted downwards and outwards, and part passing downwards is additionally formed by downward bend of outer circumferential surface of separating plate so that separating plate, when viewed from below is concave. In other design version, separating plate connected with lower part of filtering unit passes along radius to come in tight contact with inner circumferential surface of dust collecting box and it provided with communicating channel formed by cutout passing inwards and having concave form at least in part of separating plate and designed for communication with space formed between separating plate and dust -collecting box. Device is secured to one side of main housing of vacuum cleaner which accommodates suction device. Vacuum cleaner contains guide designed for direction of air loaded with dust and dirt into main housing, dust and dirt get into main housing owing to suction force built by suction device.
EFFECT: simple design, reliable protection from action of foreign matter and clogging of gauze.
