VESSEL FOR WASHING AND SQUEEZING OF MOP Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for washing of surfaces in rooms.

SUBSTANCE: vessel has two horizontal shafts attached to both sides of liquid vessel in equally spaced relation with respect to axis of symmetry of vessel, double-armed levers mounted on said shafts, with one of levers having obtuse-angled shape, squeezing rolls located in openings on identical upper arms of double-armed levers, and pedal with tie-rods. Vessel is reinforced by means of two bands running around its perimeter, lower of said bands being arranged the level with vessel bottom and upper band being attached the level making one quarter the height of vessel from upper edge. Horizontal arms of double-armed levers are attached to upper band. Double-armed levers have sleeves fixed in their corners. Lower arm of lever of obtuse-angled shape arranged at each of two opposite sides of vessel is composed of parallel cheeks, between which roller with flanges is positioned at both sides. Lower arm of other lever is made arced and is equipped with contact rib having radius equal to total of radius of roller with flanges and lever arm carrying said roller. Roller with flanges is mounted on lever arm for rolling over contact rib on arm of other lever in eyelets provided in mid portion of upper arms of levers. Prestressed extension springs are fixed on pins provided on upper band. Tie-rods have adjustable length and are kinematically connected with eyelets provided in lever arms carrying rollers with flanges and with eyelets of U-shaped pedal, which is mounted for rotation on shafts positioned on lower band. Vessel of such construction allows wide range of people to perform such a work, including children at school, at home and at other public enterprises.

EFFECT: effective utilization of force applied for squeezing of mop, improved washing quality and quality of culture of performing works, increased efficiency, and enhanced reliability in operation.
