FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed power plant operating at higher pressure is designed for clean and effective oxidation (gasification, combustion) of fuel. Fuel is oxidized (gasified) in reaction chamber under pressure within approximately from 700 poundal/sq. inch, or approximately from 850 poundal/sq. inch to approximately 1276 pound-forced/sq. inch. Combustion products from reaction chamber can be passed through heat exchanger. Part of condensed water can be returned to combustion products at inlet of heat exchanger. Moreover, cooling agent is fed into reaction chamber. Said cooling agent can be preliminarily delivered into heat exchanger for two step change of pressure. Invention makes it possible to regenerate latent evaporation heat of formed water, to separate acid gases, remove chemical contaminants, for instance, mercury and hard particles, and condense and regenerate liquid carbon dioxide.
EFFECT: increased thermodynamic efficiency, provision of reliable environmental protection.
