METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SAMPLING OF LIQUID FROM PIPELINE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: methods of sampling; oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: intake member is made in form sample-intake pipes and mounted in pipeline. Parts of flow of samples with known consumption are sampled from preset levels followed by examination of parameters of flow. First sample-intake pipe is used for in-turn sampling from preset levels, after that the second sample-intake pipe is used which pipe is mounted at preset levels. Quality of samples taken the second sample-intake pipe is checked by means flow moisture meter. Then samples taken by means of the first intake member for sampling from different levels and the second pipes is compared to analyze flow of liquid. Device for taking samples of liquid from pipeline has intake member made in form of two sample-intake pipes which member is mounted along diameter of pipeline and ancillary pipeline connected to sample-intake member in series. The first intake pipe is used for in-turn sampling from different levels and is connected with drive which drives it into motion. The second intake pipe is used for sampling from preset levels and is connected with ancillary pipeline provided with moisture meter.

EFFECT: increased precision at qualitative and quantitative account of liquid to pumped over.
