INTRACAVITARY DEVICE FOR SUPPLYING AND APPLYING INTRACAVITARY WIDENED PROSTHESIS, METHOD FOR ITS ASSEMBLING (VARIANTS), A KIT FOR SUPPLYING AND APPLYING INTRACAVITARY WIDENED PROSTHESIS (VARIANTS) AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING WIDENED PROSTHESIS ONTO THE WALLS OF CANALS' BRANCHES (VARIANTS) Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2257869 C2

FIELD: medicinal equipment.

SUBSTANCE: the suggested device has a main canal and, at least, one secondary canal, it contains a prolonged body with proximal terminal part and a distal terminal part. The latter contains the means for widening that have longitudinal active part to be fixed with intracavitary widened prosthesis and indicated to regulate the mentioned prosthesis from radially squeezed position into radially widened position, the means to move along a wire guide designed so that it, at least, partially comes along prolonged body. The mentioned active part of the means for widening is longitudinally connected with prolonged body to widen the mentioned prosthesis eccentrically against prolonged body on the one side. The mentioned means to move along a wire guide contains, at least, one cavity for a wire guide, at least, partially passing through the mentioned prolonged body which have, at least, one distal foramen for a wire guide designed at the side of prolonged body being opposite to the means for widening and being useful for gliding of a wire guide. The method for assembling includes location of wire guides along general proximal part of the route and branching distal part of the rout by forming the branching between the mentioned parts by the following technique: one should put on intracavitary device onto proximal end of the first wire guide so, that the mentioned first wire guide is inside the cavity for a wire guide. Then passing through the first distal foramen for a wire guide one should put on this device onto proximal end of the second wire guide so, that it is in the cavity for a wire guide after passing through the second distal foramen for a wire guide. One should move intracavitary device along wire guides till, at least, distal terminal part of prolonged body is beyond the limits of wire guides' branching. The kit for supplying and applying intracavitary widened prosthesis contains intracavitary device, at least, a pair of wire guides, at least, one radially widened prosthesis attached to the means for widening. The mentioned prosthesis has got tubular body designed with possibility to be regulated from radially squeezed position into radially widened position in which widened external diameter is above that of in squeezed state. The innovation enables to prevent the availability of repeated stenosis.

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
