FIELD: medicinal equipment, in particular, apparatuses for parenteral introduction of liquid or semi-solid medicinal compositions through needle.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has hollow casing, cartridge or tube, piston, hollow needle and bushing. Hollow casing has proximal and distal ends. Cartridge or tube has distal and proximal end and container. Distal end is closed with cap-partition and proximal end is closed with piston tip. Container is located intermediate cap-partition and piston tip. Piston is positioned for sliding within proximal end of cartridge or tube. Hollow needle is attachable to distal end of casing. Proximal end of hollow needle is longitudinally extending within casing. Bushing is slidingly connected with casing distal end so as to guard needle before performing injection and to be withdrawn back into casing during injection. During introducing of cartridge or tube into casing, cap-partition defines operative connection with proximal end of needle. Upon depression of piston tip into cartridge or tube, composition is urged through needle into patient's organ. Cartridge or tube has proximal section and bypass passage separated from one another by first piston-partition positioned for sliding with cartridge or tube. According to another version, apparatus has container, hollow needle, piston and piston case. Distal end of container is adapted for containing of liquid or semi-solid composition. Hollow needle is attachable to distal end of container so that needle longitudinally protrudes beyond container. Piston is positioned for sliding inside casing proximal end. Piston casing connected to piston is adapted for guarding piston, container and needle after performing injection. Upon moving of piston onto container, piston is depressed into container to thereby urge composition from container through needle into patient's organ. Piston casing is releasably connected to piston. Piston casing adapted for receiving of piston proximal end may be joined to proximal end of container after guarding of needle.
EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to eliminating or simplifying the procedure of preparing parenteral compositions, provision for aseptic or sterile conditions for needle, and elimination of possibility for repeated utilization of used needle.
