FIELD: electrical engineering; off-line power supplies.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method for feeding load with dc power from limited-power supplies such as solar batteries and from secondary power supplies such as storage batteries involves voltage regulation across load and coordination of operation of primary and secondary power supplies. To this end, n voltage ratings are regulated, maximal voltage level being regulated first, and remaining (n - 1) voltage levels are regulated from first stabilized voltage level by means of series stabilized converters. Apart from that, operation of primary and secondary power supplies is coordinated only at first level of stabilized voltage. In addition, voltage regulation at first level is conducted by shunt stabilized converter or short-circuited stabilized converter. In the process, extreme regulation of primary limited-power supply is used during voltage regulation at first level by means of series or short-circuited stabilized converter.

EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of power supply utilization.
