FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: use: in electrical engineering for power supply of spacecrafts (SC). According to the method, voltage on the load from the primary source of limited power (solar battery) is stabilized at the beginning of the life of the spacecraft using the parallel voltage stabilizer, and after resource degradation of solar battery characteristics and with lack of its power for load supply are switched to voltage stabilization on load using serial (series) voltage stabilizer, wherein switching of stabilization mode is automatically or by command from Earth.
EFFECT: improved operational reliability of the power supply system and increased efficiency of using the solar battery.
