METHOD FOR PANCREATOGASTROANASTOMOSIS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, surgery.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with pancreatic resection. One should apply a double-row suture between pancreatic stump and posterior gastric wall. Moreover, at posterior gastric wall one should cut a P-shaped serous-muscular fragment. One should fulfill the first row of posterior lip at fragment's foundation, then it is necessary to apply internal row of sutures of posterior lip by anastomosing the edge of gastric mucosa, suture muscular, submucous, mucous gastric walls at the whole length of angular sutures and in area of anterior lip. Internal row of anastomosis should be applied with two uninterrupted ligatures. One should tighten ligatures' ends together at tension. External row of anterior lip's sutures should be performed at a coupling-like peritonization of anastomosis with a cut P-shaped fragment.

EFFECT: higher quality of anastomosis' sutures.
