FIELD: heavy metals recovery.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recovering heavy metal ions via sorption on cellulose-containing sorbents from various-nature solutions formed in a variety production process. Proposed method comprises bringing solutions into contact with polymeric sorbents containing cellulose component and amino acid residues at solution/sorbent modulus 50-200, wherein polymeric sorbents utilized are oilplant processing secondary products (cutting waste and cakes) pretreated in aqueous enzyme solutions at solution/sorbent modulus 5-50 and enzyme concentration 1-10% of the weight of sorbent for 1-3 h at 25-40°C, whereas contact of pretreated sorbent lasts 5 to 20 min at ambient temperature.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process enabling use of inexpensive secondary products, significantly shortened sorbent preparation time and simplified preparation procedure, significantly reduced sorption time, and enabled conduction of process at ambient temperature.
