FIELD: packing equipment, particularly for wrapping articles, with shrinkable wrapper.
SUBSTANCE: method involves wrapping article with heat-shrinkable wrapping material for forming tubular pack, which comprises longitudinal part formed b overlapped wrapping material areas and two extended tubular ends; folding each tubular end and placing it onto the product to form outer package having two end parts formed by overlapped wrapping material areas; moving the product along sealing path; fixing longitudinal part of the tubular pack and end parts of outer pack by performing three sealing operations, wherein product movement along sealing path is carried out with product placing in one cell, which is conveyer along the sealing path so that all sealing operations are performed simultaneously with the use of corresponding longitudinal and end sealing means. Machine for product wrapping with heat-shrinkable material is also disclosed.
EFFECT: elimination of prior art packing material imperfections, namely prevention of incorrect longitudinal seal forming and local shrinkage of longitudinal overlapped package areas, which results in incorrect outer package forming.
