FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: powder material containing chromium carbide (base material) and nickel (20-30%), used to form wear-resistant coatings by means of gas-thermal sputtering, is supplemented by boron (to 2.5-3.5%) and silicon ( to 3.0-3.7%).
EFFECT: enhanced strength characteristics, corrosion and wear resistance of coatings.
