SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out instillation with mydriatic agent one day before operation and mydriatic agent is administered in combination with irifrine instillations given twice with 15 min long pause. Corneal tunnel incision and paracentesis are carried out. Pupil dislocation relative to the optical axis is determined. No pupil ectopy being observed, 0.2 ml of 0.1% adrenaline solution per 500 ml of solution is added to irrigation solution in the course of operation. The upper iris edge being on the photic stimulus reflex boundary from cornea or 1/3 of distance between the photic stimulus reflex from cornea and limb, corneocenteses are done in 1.30 and 10.30 o'clock positions and iris retractor units are introduced through them capturing the pupil edge in fixing it to the limb. If the upper iris edge is situated 2/3 of distance between the photic stimulus reflex from cornea and limb, basal iridectomy, incision and complete meridian iridotomy to pupil edge is carried out. The pedicles of newly formed coloboma are fixed via the corneocenteses to the limb area.

EFFECT: provided optimum mydriasis; reduced risk of complications.
