FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in surgical treatment of cataract. For this, regional anaesthesia is first performed before the operation, and then local topical anaesthesia. Surgical site is treated. First and second corneocenteses 1 mm wide are performed at 3 and 9 o’clock. 0.1 ml of 1% Mezaton solution is introduced into the anterior chamber and the anterior chamber is filled with an adhesive viscoelastic. 3 corneocenteses with width of 0.5 mm are formed at 2, 10 and 6 hours. Capsuloretractors are implanted. Then, a continuous circular capsulorhexis is performed with a collet forceps through paracentesis at 9 o’clock. Thereafter, a tunnel corneal incision 2.0 mm long and 2.0 mm wide is performed at 11 o’clock. Then, through the tunnel incision, hydrodissection and hydrodelineation are performed, the lens is fragmented by vertical phaco-chop and removed. Thereafter, aspiration and irrigation are carried out through the first and second corneocenteses, respectively, the residual lens masses are removed, and the capsular sac is polished, and the capsular sac and the anterior chamber are filled with a cohesive viscoelastic. IOL is implanted into the capsular sac through the tunnel incision. Capsuloretractors are removed. Anterior chamber is washed and the corneocenteses are sealed with normal saline. Operation is completed by subconjunctival administration of a glucocorticoid solution and an antibiotic.
EFFECT: invention provides prevention of iris prolapse and progressive pupil constriction, its stabilization and creation of adequate mydriasis in intraoperative floppy-iris syndrome.
