FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: massager intends for medical and prophylactic massage. Massager has removable massaging shaft, which is mounted for rotation around axis between sides of bracket provided with handle. Massager also has massaging element made for change in its temperature. Massage shaft is made of frame in form of plate with two co-axial pivots disposed at grooves at ends of sidepieces. Removable 'cold" and "warm" massage elements in form of semi-cylinders are placed at both sides of plate. Longitudinal profiled grooves are made onto flat walls of semi-cylinders which groove interact with corresponding shape like elements being present at both sides of the plate. Two discs fixed to pivots limit axial shifts of massage elements. At least one disc has to be removable. Massage element is made in form of air-proof container filled with some heat-accumulating matter or with matter being able of keeping cold. Protrusions of difference shapes are made working cylindrical part of massage elements. Combination of mechanical and thermal-contrast influence is carried out simultaneously due to different-temperature massage elements being dispersed in specific way.

EFFECT: improved therapeutic efficiency of massage.
