APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURE OF TAPESTRY Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: textile industry, in particular, equipment for manual manufacture of tapestry and like articles.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has web stretching device made in the form of frame carcass, and embroidering device comprising hollow rectangular handle with opening for extending of tube equipped with sharpened part and longitudinal opening for exit of thread. Outer sides of frame carcass are made conical. Rigidity ribs arranged inside frame carcass are provided with openings for exit of threaded rods fixed on lower ribs of internal shell adapted for recovering of web stretching extent, and on external shell with conical external sides - for clamping web between conical walls. Bolts-handles are designed for releasing web and are adapted for cooperating with thread provided in rigidity ribs on external shell. Embroidering device has mechanism for automatic retaining of pattern profile height. Tube is joined to handle through chuck clamp so that single handle may be used for tubes of different diameters. Handle may be equipped with blind openings for accommodation of tubes. Apparatus of such construction allows web stretching extent to be recovered without necessity of removing web from apparatus and tapestry of any sizes to be manufactured regardless of sizes of stretching device.

EFFECT: provision for forming of relief patterns on any high-density fabrics by means of threads of any thickness and characteristics, with color combinations of one and the same pattern according to user's requirements, and reduced time for making pattern.
