FIELD: water protection, particularly to clean sea, ocean surfaces, inland water bodies, ports and harbors of oil.

SUBSTANCE: device includes closed system of hydrocyclones spaced equal distances in circumferential direction and connected one to another by vertical partitions. Hydrocyclones are superposed by front and rear walls with inlet orifices widened in upward direction. Device also has pipelines and oil lines connected with coaxial oil and water reservoirs in device center, hollow chambers defined by horizontal and vertical partitions, vertical edges defined by front and rear hydrocyclon walls, lid with wave-cutting device and hatch. Device also comprises outer and inner electromagnets equally spaced around lid periphery and cone electromagnets arranged on hydrocyclon surfaces, which are linked to control unit by cable having water- and oil-proof insulation.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of thick magnetic oil film removing from large areas due to magnetic field creation and, as a result, extended range of device application for recovering oil from wavy water body surfaces.
