FIELD: drilling, particularly for temporary sealing or packing boreholes or wells during isolation thereof and reservoir study.

SUBSTANCE: packer plug has shaft with cap, removable unit telescopically installed inside the shaft, as well as sealing member and double slip unit, which are arranged from outer shaft side. Installed in orifices formed in lower body part are retaining balls cooperating with removable unit. Upper body part is provided with sealing member seat, thrust bush and retaining ring with notches. Setting tool is also used. Setting tool has body cooperating with the seat and rod connected to cap through tearing member.

EFFECT: extended range of capabilities and possibility to use production-run grapping tool.
