FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: bridge plug comprises a setting tool made of a cylinder with a casing and a piston with a stem, a shaft, a sealing element, a fixator of sealing element position, main and additional cones, main and additional slips, a detachable unit with a fishing head on top arranged inside a stem of the setting tool, which is made as hollow and is connected to the shaft by shear elements, besides, the cylinder of the setting tool is made as resting against the upper stop, fixing balls, a thrust ring. The cylinder is connected via a nozzle with a pipe string as capable of limited downward displacement, besides, the cylinder is fixed relative to the nozzle with shear screws, which are made as capable of damage after installation of the bridge plug, but before damage of the shaft shear elements, at the same time the stem of the setting tool is equipped with a circular taper from inside, and the fishing head of the detachable unit is equipped at the top with a cylindrical extension, inserted tightly into the circular taper of the stem as capable of going out from this taper after damage of the shear elements of the shaft.

EFFECT: monitoring of bridge plug disconnection from a setting tool at a wellhead due to reduction of the excessive hydraulic pressure during disconnection, and also provides for tight fit of the bridge plug in the well due to the possibility of double-sided compression of sealing elements.
