FIELD: oil production industry, particularly for prevention of deposit formation in oil production, refinery and transportation equipment and for cleaning oil-field waste water containing barium ions and radium isotopes.
SUBSTANCE: method involves treating produced water and/or waste water containing barium ions and radium isotopes with aqueous salt solution; ejecting treated water in reservoir. The solution is underground water of upper horizon with high sulfate content and cleaned of sediments. Ratio between produced and/or waste water and underground water may be calculated from the following equation: 1:CBa·96.066/137.33·CSO4, where 1 is produced and/or waste water fraction, CBa·96.066/137.33·CSO4 is underground water fraction, CBa is barium ion concentration in produced and/or waste water, 96.066 is specific weight of sulfate-ions, g, 137.33 is barium atomic weight, g and CSO4 is sulfate-ion concentration in underground water.
EFFECT: reduced material consumption, increased efficiency of scale formation prevention.
