FIELD: oil production industry, particularly to detect circulation in casing annulus and to control cement stone integrity.
SUBSTANCE: method involves controlling presence of indicator in product to be extracted. Method of indicator presence involves carrying out laboratory researches during deposit development along with maintaining formation pressure with the use sweet or waste water, wherein the aim of the researches is to determine barium ion concentration as a function of produced water mineralization; taking extracted product sample; separating produced water from oil in above sample; determining mineralization of produced water and barium ion concentration in produced water, which are used as the indicator. Value of barium ion concentration is compared with that obtained from laboratory researches. Presence of circulation in casing annulus is inferred by abnormal growth of barium ion concentration.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of casing pipe circulation detection.
