FIELD: micro-robotics, micro-system technology.
SUBSTANCE: micro-drive unit includes housing in which similar piezoelectric transducers and rods supporting toothed racks for forward and backward strokes are mounted. At side of inner surface toothed racks are kinematically joined one to other through gear wheel. At outer side forward-stroke toothed rack is engaged with first and second groups of piezoelectric transducers and back- stroke toothed rack is engaged with third and forth groups of piezoelectric transducers. One end of each piezoelectric transducer is secured to housing with possibility of shifting its other end coated with wear-resistant material in direction normal relative to rod axis. Toothed racks are mounted in fixing limiting members and in guides provided in housing. On outer surface of toothed racks in lengthwise direction along center there are rectangular teeth. Profiles of teeth in section parallel to outer surface of racks are in the form of right triangles mutually spaced by grooves. Inclination angles of teeth of toothed racks for forward and backward strokes are mutually opposite; height of teeth is equal to shift value of ends of similar piezoelectric transducers.
EFFECT: enhanced loading capability, lowered delay of drive unit.
