FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, namely to the structure of hopper cars with slide discharging devices. Slide discharging mechanism of a hopper car with slide discharging device (1) and device for locking of gate valves (3) includes housing, in brackets of which there are longitudinal slots for sliding bearings fixed by the stops after adjustment of engagement movement of the mechanism. Flap stop is equipped with a lever with a hole for interaction with a device for locking of gate valves. Top angles of cappings teeth circuit of the mechanism for moving the gate valve and teeth of gears are made with rounding, excluding burrs of teeth surfaces. Housing is made with inclined canopy near the output of the gate valve from the housing and with angles, installed along the perimeter of the opening with minimum clearance between them and horizontal surface of the gate valve. Lock shaft is equipped with turning and locking device.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency and reliability.
