SUBSTANCE: device has tank 2 with floating roof 1 formed of worn-out tires 3. Roof 1 edges are beveled from top and bottom roof surfaces. Roof has elastic ring-shaped packing 5 extending along the full roof perimeter. Sealed elastic shells 6, 7 adjoin upper and lower bevels of the roof 1. Scrapers 8 made of resilient band members are connected to floating roof and to elastic shells from top and bottom thereof.
EFFECT: prevention of product vapor emission from the tank, prevention of floating roof misalignment and floating roof underflooding.
