FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: method includes representing virtually at least a portion of sound-reflective and sound-absorbing surfaces of current surrounding environment , by describing these by parametric filters. For each surface a bank of parametric filters is formed, considering their sound reflection and sound absorption, and also acoustic position of surfaces relatively to one another. Parametric filter banks are preserved, and during reproduction of audio characteristics of current space, filter banks are restored, to secure creation of virtual double of current space.
EFFECT: higher quality.
