SUBSTANCE: ambient virtual acoustic space has surfaces which reflect, absorb, and pass sound. Surfaces are represented by parametric filters and the latter are given parameters determining transfer functions of filters. Characteristics of virtual acoustic space are transferred to user at adequate computational load.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of transferring virtual acoustic space characteristics.
