FIELD: cylindrical and prismatic chemical current supplies.

SUBSTANCE: proposed chemical current supply has cylindrical jar accommodating roll of spirally folded electrodes with flexible current leads in the form of metal strips connected to bottom and lid of jar wherein flexible current leads, whose length is smaller than electrode roll height, are disposed along width of outer edges of positive- and negative-electrode roll and secured, respectively, on one end inside electrode edges bent and press-fitted to thickness of electrode effective areas free from active material; negative and positive electrodes on bottom and lid ends have edges respectively bent and press-fitted through length to thickness of electrode effective areas free from active material; positive electrode edge and its flexible current lead are connected on one end to one plate which is connected to jar lid and edge of negative electrode, as well as its flexible current lead are connected on other end to other plate, the latter being connected to current supply jar bottom.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of current supply.
