FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: lithium chemical current source (CCS) with the roll electrode packaging incorporates a metal package, a metal cover, a positive electrode sealed output passing through the cover and the roll electrode unit comprising two and more strip plate of the positive and negative electrodes. The current collector of the positive electrode represents a strip metal plate with its part being rolled to make a cylinder shape and located at the roll center and the remaining part arranged curvilinear along the electrode roll thickness. The inner ends of all the electrode package plates are arranged along the current collector curvilinear part, the outer end of the said plates are arranged along the roll edges. The positive electrode plate inner ends are connected to the current collector and the negative electrode outer ends are connected to the CCS cover. Note that the last plate of the negative electrode is held in place by the insulating material clamp connected to the positive electrode current collector curvilinear part and envelopes the roll along its edges.

EFFECT: lithium CCS higher power and better explosion protection.
