FIELD: data coding/decoding devices that can be used in synchronous telecommunication systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has data transfer unit (scrambler) 52 and data receiving unit (descrambler) 53 that incorporate pseudorandom bit sequence generators logically isolated from communication line and built around shift registers 57, 62 and EXCLUSIVE OR gates 58, 63, respectively. Device also has EXCLUSIVE OR gates 55, 64, amplifiers 56, 65, 76, phase-locked generator 61, shift registers 67, 72, decoders 68, 74, flip-flops 69, 74, 75, and inverters 70, 76. Device is capable of identifying definite codes in scrambled data stream with the result that pseudorandom bit sequence generators of scrambler and descrambler are set in equal states dispensing with any synchronizing service codes specially inputted in data stream.
EFFECT: enhanced speed of data transfer through device and reduced data loss in recovering failed synchronization.
